The Drive

What we strive for is always different, but what drives us to strive is always the same-

Why do we do the things we do?? I'm talking about the things that set us apart from the rest...Whatever THAT may be...for some its body transformation and building. For others its developing charities across the world, for some it's getting their masters degree... You get the point.
So WHY DO WE DO IT??

It most definitely isn't because its easy.....there is something inside you that pushes you, pushes you to succeed at your highest ability.

Does everyone have this push and just some of us chose to use it?? Or are we 'chosen' to carry this motivation from birth???

PERSONALLY....I think everyone has it. It just takes some of us longer to learn how it works. Its a matter of really loving what you do. The more passion you have for something, the more you put into it, and thus the better the outcome, right?!

Although there are always the youngsters who blow our mind from a very young age..... you know the child genius, the 2 year old who can recite all US presidents from the beginning of time, the ones who not only can act, but can sing dance and walk on their hands......
One might argue that children may not have the understanding of passion, dedication and drive. But doesn't it come down to parenting???

Anyway, this is not my topic of knowledge, I am just putting my thoughts out there.... The point of this is just to make you question what it is that drives YOU...

Have you ever really thought about it?? I know there's something.... there HAS to be. You wake up everyday, you work hard, you train hard and you fuel your body with whole natural HEALTHY foods to energize your body and help build your muscles.( I know I may be reaching, but I like to think that EVERYONE eats clean:)

What drives ME????

My work really motivates me.... my clients.

I feel like I need to keep my body, mind and spirit at its peak if I am going to coach my clients to do the same.

My Mom and Dad, as cheesy as that may sound.

I know having fitness in my life was very important to my mom, and here I am.... 8 years later...a trainer madly in love with her work.
And my Dad, well he's a dad, and I'm his only child..... I'm a girl... need i say more?? He's proud pappa:)

So take a moment and think about what motivates you???
Maybe you aren't feeling motivated as of late, maybe you feel like you weren't born with the 'drive'....... I think you were.

You are awesome, find what you love and push!!!!!!
