There is so much information out there... so many 'gaurantees' so many 'promises' so many potential 'best body ever's'....... all going unfulfilled !
We live in a society where instant gratification is EXPECTED.
This is a concept I have yet to understand and so I ask....someone please help me make sense of it.
Back to previous posts.... our bodies don't become what they are TODAY in an overnight fad binge...
results take time, be that positive results or negative.
How does it make sense to someone that an overnight, or even week long 'fad' diet is going to reverse the effects of the poor habits that have become normal?
The simple fact that the word FAD is even a part of this discussion proves it all.... WHEN in the history of FAD has anything good come ??
Lets re cap shall we:
PINCH ROLLING - 1987( thank you dear cousin Carla, and Jen Davidson for instilling the skill)
LOCK JEANS - 1987-1992 (there are so many reasons this wasn't good)
HAIR SPRAYED BACK COMBED BANGS -1983-1995 ( the occasional one still sneaks into the 21st century)
WOODEN PANELED STATION WAGONS/VANS-dear god

Bottom line, a fad ends, it is risky to do in the beginning..... you usually don't even know why your doing it to start with. Maybe your trying to fit in , or impress someone but it usually starts with you not particularly liking it yourself, and just going with the flow of things.
HERE\S AN IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don\t do it to begin with...... your wasting your time,money,energy and sanity on something that i PROMISE you will end poorly.
I take it right back to the 'HARSH BUT TRUE' blog, with the importance of hard work, focus and dedication to your own cause.
Do what is known to have lasting results, something basic, simple and classic.
Foods that come from nature, NOT a package!
Sleep,Eat, Sweat repeat....... be healthy be aware, be knowledgeable...if you arent sure.. ASK, but ask someone you trust. Ask a professional in the field.
