Harsh but true

OK so I posted about balance, and I really cant stress enough how crucial that strategy is to overall health happiness and success...... however.........as with most rules they are meant to be broken..... Here's my professional opinion.....
When you decide to tackle a fitness goal... ESPECIALLY if its a relatively big one, you likely are beginning on a challenge that will consist of breaking some long term habits.... Poor habits.
Am I right? You're not happy with your current physical state, and its likely that its taken a while to get here.... so it would make sense then that it may take a while to come back from there. 
Most habits take what ...21 days to become habit..... something like that...and therefore 21 days to drop the same habit?? Ya how about ones that have been going for years.....Don't expect lifestyle changes to happen overnight keener!

What I said about 'balance' needs to be looked at honestly in regards to where YOU are at in your habit dropping and building. If you are in the beginning phases and therefore likely 15+ pounds away from your ideal goal..... Your main focus is changing habits.... if indulging in treats is something that you commonly did... then DON'T!!!
Be real with yourself..... do you 'deserve' it? Ya as a human of course... but as a dedicated hard working goal orientated human... NO... its doing you NO favors at this point.
You haven't built up the will power yet.

Give yourself a few weeks to a month before you allow yourself your first indulgence when starting a big change. Make it count, prove your inner voice wrong... you don't NEED that piece of pie.. you WANT it... and what do you want more?? PIE OR GOAL? PIE OR GOAL??

BE HONEST, BE STRONG, BE DEDICATED, BE COMMITTED TO YOURSELF.... nobody is worth more of your time and energy than you are.

Once you have come within 10 pounds of that beautiful goal.... give into your cravings once in a while..... enjoy, you have worked so hard.

Now this isn't meant to say that if you have 75 pounds to lose your not allowed to give in until you have only 65 left... .no no no... make small goals..... 20 pounds say..... every 20 pounds you indulge....

I am not pretending that I think this is easy, but   nothing worth ANYTHING comes easy.... and if you want it, only you can get it.
GO GET IT~
don't be afraid to sweat it out, cry it out.... scream if you have to...... the feeling at the end of the journey far outweigh the hatred for the moment of desire.
