Have you ever thought Today is the day!!
Today is the day in which I make the change!Enough is enough,
I am going to GET that gym membership, or that yoga pass I keep talking about.
I'm going to finally walk into the running store to PURCHASE my new runners.
Today is the day I clean out my cupboards and fill it with all the "RIGHT" foods....and then........
QUIT
You had all the best intentions and then realized half way through the process that...."THIS IS HARD!!!!!" and you find yourself quitting before you've REALLY given it a true effort.?
Be honest, you probably have, and then because of that, you've fallen RIGHT back into full fledged old habits, which were the reasons you were at step one in the first place....RIGHT?!
I know I am not the first person you have heard say this, nor will I be the last, because it is the TRUTH, whether you want it to be or not~
LIFE IS HARD~
DRASTIC CHANGE REQUIRES DRASTIC CHANGE!!!~
ANYTHING WORTH DREAMING FOR AND WANTING.... WILL BE HARD, AND THEREFOR... WORTH IT!!!~
SHORT TERM LOSS IS MANDATORY FOR LONG TERM GAINS!!!~
Where did the laziness come from anyway??
Drive through EVERYTHING, Shopping baskets on wheels, cell phones that do EVERYTHING for us? Cars that 'park themselves' lol
An overwhelming percentage of our population is overweight, we ALL know this, its not just a statistic, its an epidemic.
Why?? because its EASIER to eat crap food than whole food, its EASIER to run into a fast food joint to grab and go than to pre pack your home made lunch.
Its EASIER to skip meals and grab junk on the way home or to the office, its EASIER to drink a bottle of wine or jug of beer and sit on the couch than to head out for a hike, or head to the gym.
Its easier to judge than to DO.
Its easier to be overweight and remain the same weight than it is to make the changes it requires to LOSE THE WEIGHT, and keep it off for good.
So whats more important?
The whole "Today's the day" thing..... is it REALLY the day??
Do you want it BAD ENOUGH????
Are you UNHAPPY ENOUGH???
If you are, then you WILL sacrifice the short term pain, for the long term gain. You just WILL....if you want it BAD ENOUGH, if you are UN HAPPY ENOUGH.
And if your NOT, and you DON'T, that's OK too..... but understand the difference.
If you aren't 'there' yet, you will NOT have the drive and the strength to power through the changes, to power through the HARD.
But if you ARE there, then you will find the strength you need to push right through the hard changes, and you will come out the other end, with the long term gains.
Don't be LAZY!
Be the change!
Don't be a statistic, do something awesome!!!

Nothing worth ANYTHING comes without the HARD!!!
