There is no "I" in team~

Home from a perfect weekend away with a group of people whom I am lucky enough to spend 2 evenings and 1 morning a week with......THE BOOT CAMPERS ( sadly not all of them were able to come)

Night 2 shenanigans...Birthday celebration!

 Its been a two year discussion of ours to make a trip to Vancouver and tackle the Grouse Grind. We've heard the stories, we've been 'scared off' and it was time we found out for ourselves.

We booked the hotel months ago, and once we learned of the Stanley Cup finals being held on the same weekend, we also made a ferry reservation, and away we went.

We headed over Friday afternoon and made it to town in enough time to grab a free table for 8 and ate some delicious Mexican food while watching the 5th game of the FINALS, Vancouver vs Boston.

We finished dinner with 5 minutes left in the third period, about 6 blocks from the big screens on W Georgia, and so .......                                            WE RAN

When the chaos settled..... well it didn't SETTLE really, but when we were over it, we wandered back to our hotel and soon after headed to bed, with an early morning ahead.

Group breakfast at the hotels lounge was yummy and perfect fuel for the Grind.

I think we can all agree that the hike was beautiful, wonderful, perfectly challenging and NOT as awful as we were told.

IT WILL BE HIKED AGAIN!!!!!!!

From here we headed on a slight road trip to Surrey where we loaded up on my favorite products from 

MAGNUM NUTRACEUTICALS

Some of us napped through the later afternoon and some of us shopped :)

We all met up again for dinner and celebrations for a birthday among the group:)

Without going into detail of conversations, quotes, funny words, and unintentional humorous stories of the night I can promise you we had a FABULOUS time!!!!!!

This weekend is proof that the term BOOT CAMP doesn't have to be scary.......We are  a TEAM, we support each other, and work together.......
