~Mother nature wants us to slooowww down~

How often do you find yourself stumbling out of the car with 4 grocery bags on one arm, your purse on the other hand while reaching for your travel coffee mug, fumbling with your keys and .. ohhhh dont leave your phone on the front seat.
ME? This is a frequent occurrence in my week. I do it because I live on the top floor of my condo building and HEAVEN forbid I make 2 trips!!!
What about the multi tasking gone wild in the kitchen?
You know what I mean, you've got the onions and mushrooms sauteing in the front pan, water boiling on the back, your chopping vegetables on the cutting board, and baking the chicken in the oven. All while trying to get the laundry in while the first load is switched to the dryer, and taking out what needs hanging.
Some people are born multi taskers and have a way of pulling it off flawlessly, while the rest of us end up losing half the groceries, spilling our coffee, dropping your keys, over flowing the boiling water, slipping with the knife and shooting half the chopped vegetables on the floor, while accidentally putting your beautiful cashmere sweater in the dryer and turning it into doll clothes.

Why are we always in such a hurry to get everything done at the same time? Always in a hurry to get to our next destination quicker than the last time?
Always in a race against time....
What is time anyway???   Its a couple numbers on a clock, sometimes with importance such as a meeting or appointment, but for a lot of our day.... its just numbers.
Have you ever allowed yourself to forget about time?

To just sit, and enjoy your moment?

Just SIT, take an inhalation, focus on it, hold it for a brief second and exhale, and focus on that as well.
That is your moment, and there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to be done in that moment other than relax and breath.
When you notice yourself rushing through your days, and forgetting the 'moments' , STOP, SLOW DOWN, and breath. Take some time to breath, and thoroughly enjoy your moment, every moment.

To quote the wonderful Eckhart Tolle, Enjoy.....
the Power of Now
