It's like the first day of Kindergarten :)

So I was recently approached about writing a book. This guy sounded legit... and to his defense I think He is.... the book was going to be written FOR women, about the lives we live day to day and the obstacles we tackle. About how we get through the days with a strong healthy head on our shoulders..... How we integrate health and personal well being into the crazy mixture that is our world.
Annnyway after an early morning phone conference, I came to realize that this was going to cost me MONEY.... pretty big money  ( for my penny pinching wallet anyway)
So its been 24 hours since that phone call, 1 declining email and a few girlfriend and 1 boyfriend chat and I now have come to the conclusion that I can write without him....
*Its that whole, finger snapping.. "I DONT NEEEEED YOUUUUUU" mentality :)

So here I am now, writing...
about what?????
Life, training, health and well being, struggles, obstacles we, AS HUMAN BEINGS, not just women tackle day to day.......
There may be days when I rant about MY day, and maybe you can relate... or hey, I may even solve a problem YOU have been having.... who knows, I may end up working miracles.....
I hope that regardless, I write some words that keep you entertained for a few minutes each day....
Would love ideas, questions, thoughts etc......

We're all friends here xo ~Kyla
P.S These are the 2 most important non humans in my world and expect to hear from them... ( yes I said from them.. they converse and have a lot of opinions....) There are some of you who already know them very well.... This is Jackson and Ziggy :)

  1. We (women) can all learn from each other. I have learned a lot from you Kyla and think what you have to share can only enhance our views..our lives. I will share with you Kyla some thoughts after meeting with my marriage counsellor years ago. We don't realize how things from our past leak into our present and it is up to us (ourselves) to recognize and learn from our experiences, mistakes and triumphs so we can become the women we were suppose to be. The relationship between women are one of the most important in life. : )

    What I Know…

We are each responsible for our own life - no other person is or even can be. Like me, you might have experienced things that caused you to judge yourself unworthy. It's important to know why and how we are programmed to feel the way we do so we can do the work of changing the program. That is one of the most important challenges of our life - to heal the wounds of our past so we don't continue to bleed. Until we do, we are literally dragging the weight of our past into our present. And that makes it nearly impossible to move forward.

What I know for sure is that our life is a series of all our experiences - and each experience is created by our thoughts, intentions, and actions, to teach us what we most need to know. Our life is a journey of learning to love yourself first and then extending that love to others in every encounter. How can we travel on that road without fear? I ask myself, when faced with adversity, “What would I do if I weren't afraid of making a mistake, feeling rejected, looking foolish, or being alone?” Remove the fear, and the answer comes into focus.
A friend said to me not that long ago, “You learn a lot about yourself when faced with adversity, it’s an opportunity to make things better than before.” Good advice!

If we're holding anyone else accountable for our happiness, we're wasting our time. We must be fearless enough to give ourselves the love we didn't receive. Begin noticing how buried disagreements with our mother/father show up in arguments with our partner. Begin noticing how unconscious feelings of unworthiness appear in everything we do and don't do. Begin noticing how every day brings new opportunity for our growth. All these experiences are our life's way of making itself whole - sometimes whispering, often screaming.

Every choice gives us a chance to pave our own road. We each have an inner strength that is sometimes hard to reach but once found it keeps us moving forward in the right direction.
