Well here's to saving the day......
Real, whole ingredients that you KNOW and feel confident consuming, made into a yummy chocolaty protein bar.
1/4C cocoa
1/2C graham crumbs
1/4C carob chips
2 pkg stevia * option*
1C oats + 1 C oat flour
2/3 C apple sauce ( this may be more if your mixture seems to dry)
- Mix all dry ingredients together
-Add apple sauce and mix until you have a moist texture, NOT WET, just moist
Tear tinfoil into 8 equal pieces ( about 5" x 3")
Drop mixture by equal sizes onto tinfoil, using your fingers, form your bar and fold tinfoil over edges so you don't have a mess on your hands when baking.
Bake at 325 for aprox 12 minutes, depending on your oven.....
~You should have a soft middle but not squishy.
Store in a covered container in fridge up to 10 days.
